When Deborah was ?illed, what did we Muslims do? We didn’t seek justice. We didn’t condemn the crime. Instead, we rallied behind the k!llers, hiring a team of 34 lawyers led by Prof. Mansur Ibrahim to defend them. And in the end, they walked free, not because they were innocent but because the prosecution conveniently refused to show up. This wasn’t justice. This was a message. In our community, mur@der in the name of religion has no consequences.
If this is what we defend, what does that say about us?
