This is exactly what you DON'T want in an Early Access. Mega Crit has badly mishandled player goodwill, and Slay the Spire 2 will carry that stain... permanently.

Her role as a consultant is entirely optional and while I don't hold the concerns she has I don't have to accept review bombs of good games either.

That's the thing though, hiring her IS optional, so why did they hire her in the first place? Idc if you accept but don't act as if its over nothing.

If she consults on a game and the game is bad then I fully support giving the game the appropriate review score. That a game could come out, loved for hundreds of hours, and suddenly it's bad now is just too far for me.

I have my own suspicions on what got changed in sts2 but as I mentioned previously, we'll never know for sure.
