Statements by the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, General Mazloum Abdî:
-We salute the resistance of civilians and fighters in all areas subjected to brutal attacks and systematic killing against the Kurds
-There has been a dangerous escalation of attacks on detention facilities holding ISIS prisonersand their families in al-Shaddadi and al-Hol Camp
-Al-Hol Camp has been subjected since last night to violent attacks and attempts to storm it and seize control by force.
-Guards of al-Hol Camp confronted attacks by military columns, armored vehicles, and tanks, which forced them to withdraw
-The Julani regime continues its intensive attacks on the city of Hasake, its countryside, and the city of Kobani
-Julani regime has not responded to any of the ceasefire initiatives launched over the past two weeks
-We withdrew to areas with a Kurdish majority; protecting them is a red line, and we will not hesitate to defend it
-We call on the US-led International Coalition to assume its responsibilities in protecting facilities that detain ISIS members
-We call on the Julani regime to halt the attacks and return to the negotiating table
