I feel like the Xenoblade community is always downplaying and self manipulating XenoX. It all started with telling people the story is not good and now that the upgrade pack is not it. It might come from a place of wanting better but it's come to the point where its more damaging

I was always one of the people saying the story isn't the focus of X. Of courses I wanted to set expectations low, but I've realized that more and more people talked about X story not being that important that public opinion became that it's bad. It did more damage than it should

And now I'm noticing that many people want a perfect version of X. Yes, if you zoom in 5x it can get smeary a bit. It's not perfect and it could be better, but we are once again downplaying that the patch still looks and plays better than the og release.

People have been waiting for this update and now it's here but it's not perfect and we get the wrong message out again so people who would have tried it and didn't notice shit still won't pick it up again.

Yes I want monolithsoft to fix this so everyone can be happy. And fan outcry is what makes devs listen, but we could frame it in a better way. Like saying it needs more work and not saying "it's not worth it" and "it makes the game worse"

@SuperSavajin People are definitely overreacting it's an upgrade through and through. That said, it probably is the worst ns2 edition thus far and for a monolithsoft/xenoblade game it is disappointing
