@erinstellato @jpomfret @psdbatools I love Dbatools.io, my favourite: Test-DbaLastBackup -SqlInstance sql2016 Determines the last full backup for ALL databases, attempts to restore all databases then performs a DBCC CHECKDB. Once the test is complete, the test restore will be dropped.

@SQLBonus @erinstellato @jpomfret That's one of our favorites as well! Such a perfect example of PS' capabilities. You don't have to dread tedious, multi-step tasks anymore because it's now just one easy step. People stop putting off testing their backups, too, because it's no longer painful (and it's even fun)

@SQLBonus @psdbatools @erinstellato @jpomfret I also use Test-DbaLastBackup in Agent Jobs. I do want to mention that I have concerns that you're only testing your backups monthly. How long does it take in your environment for the Agent Job to complete? If feasible, consider increasing the schedule, perhaps to Weekly.
