38 years ago today, “Scarface” was released in theaters 🌴 Al Pacino asked Robert De Niro for advice finding a director. De Niro suggested Brian De Palma but also said that if Pacino didn't take the role, he would take it with Martin Scorsese directing.

@ScreenOffScript Yeah, DeNiro does not have the cajones for Tony. I think DeNiro would have made a great Fredo, however.

@ScreenOffScript I could NOT see DeNiro in this role at all. Pacino was perfect.
