🎉Here are my "secrets" to getting your game front page on Roblox.
Coming from a developer who has peaked at 570k CCU 😈
I have been full-time developing on Roblox since 2017 and thought I'd make a post with a few pointers on creating a successful game.
👁 Create a good icon, a good icon + thumbnail drives important statistics for the algorithm, like D1 Retention and CTR
🤑Do not give percentage of your game to marketers, if someone is not providing your game value through game design, building or programming DO NOT give them any of your game.
It is disappointing to see so many marketers on the platform right now, who have never made their own successful title. These people do not know how to promote your game on the platform, all they do is let the algorithm do the hard work and take credit for it.
🧠Youtubers aren't as important as they used to be!!!
Sadly (for me) the days of bribing my so called "friends" like @AlbertsStuff don't work for pushing a game to the front page.
Do not give Youtubers a piece of your game in exchange for marketing, take it from me.
🔥The BIGGEST secret on creating a front page game on Roblox... IS.... creating a good game - Roblox is the only platform in the world right now that creating a good game will get your game in front of an audience.
If your game isn't popular on Roblox, it's not because the big bad men at Roblox HQ are only promoting bad games, it's because your game is a bad fit for Roblox.
I have proven this thesis by releasing games on unknown alternate accounts and reaching 20-30k CCU on these games.
