Our CEO, Dr. @bengoertzel, joined @HMsheikh4, CEO of @Fetch_ai, and Nicola Massella, Partner at @STORM_Partners, at the Proof of Talk 2025 Summit in Paris to discuss our strategy for challenging technology giants in the race toward artificial general intelligence.
"We don't come as big as Google or Microsoft, but we're getting better scale," Dr. Goertzel said. Combining larger scale with superior AI algorithms and tokenomic incentives brings the @ASI_Alliance "closer to the scale needed to make decentralized AI the dominant form of AI on the planet."
The discussion addressed how our comprehensive technology stack distinguishes the Alliance from fragmented Web3 projects. "In crypto, you see projects building very siloed parts of the tech stack," Mr. Sheikh said. "Now we have a fully comprehensive stack from compute to application layer, which makes it much more efficient. We can actually compete with the corporations building these solutions."
Our competitive advantage lies in embracing diversity over monolithic approaches. "One of our secret sauces from being decentralized is the power of diversity," Dr. Goertzel said. "We can pull in different people, communities, every country in the world, and different AI algorithms on different datasets to work together, as opposed to the monolithic approaches that large centralized entities take."
This strategic diversity becomes particularly powerful in light of current industry dynamics. "If you look at what Big Tech companies are doing with AI, they're all doing the same thing," Dr. Goertzel explained. "They're launching large language models and building their whole infrastructure around that." Recent Apple research demonstrated that Big Tech's reasoning models perform poorly on problems beyond their training data, creating opportunities for alternative approaches such as OpenCog Hyperon.
The ASI Alliance merger has produced measurable results in community engagement and product adoption. "We’re seeing the utilization of our products increasing exponentially, especially over the last three months, thanks to the bigger community that we've been able to put together as all four projects," Mr. Sheikh reported. This growth demonstrates the power of unified communities working toward a collective vision.
The panel concluded with our vision for community-driven AGI development. "We want to pull in a broad community to help us build a decentralized AI network that will turn into AGI," Dr. Goertzel said. "It's a chance for the community to participate in shaping the mind of the first superhuman thinking machine that humanity builds."
