MissColourz has been removed from Raw Input and banned from all related communities due to using aim assist on mnk in CoD for her three most recent posts. Viscose and I noticed her last post featured a few movements that we couldn’t really explain. We downloaded the post, went frame by frame, and found a bunch more of these inexplicable movements. We tried asking her casually about the most suspicious clip and to get the raw file, but in the morning, she deleted the post with the reasoning that “it flopped so i deleted it”. After we confronted her, we eventually got her to confess. We’re still not sure if it’s the full truth, but at this point it doesn’t matter. Cheats are cheats. Words cannot describe how thoughtless and selfish her actions were. Both towards us and the community as a whole. We put in thousands of hours and towards building something together and she didn’t even think about the repercussions for anybody other than herself. If you feel like it reflects badly on us, I hope you can see it from our perspective. From what we can tell this has only been going on for those three montages and she had built up years of confidence towards her legitimacy. It’s really hard to see a friend you’ve spoken to every day for a year as being capable of something like this. Plus, we are the ones with the most to lose, both in terms of career and our friendship, and we were still the first ones to bring it up. It also makes so little sense because her best friends and coworkers are literally the biggest aim nerds on the planet. It’s so disrespectful and she had zero foresight for what happens if she gets caught. Especially towards Viscose, who brought her into the space, gave her a platform there, shared a community, taught her so much about aim and offered her so many opportunities. It’s just insane to throw that all away for Twitter likes. We tried to tell her so many times that while she was a great CoD player, she was a wonderful entertainer too. She couldn’t see it, she kept feeling like her self worth was defined by the skill she had put so much time into. I promise you are worth more than what you’re known for or the things you’re good at, and placing that much of your self worth into a skill is a recipe for disaster. Even if you’re the best now, it won’t last forever. Keep your good friends close and never let them go. Just be careful of who you trust.
