Many people are mentioning the subscription as the reason they don't want to play Final Fantasy XIV. But it's worth remembering that FFXIV has one of the most generous free trials in gaming. @GameXverse Unfortunately it’s designed to make your frustrations take the lead, and put your wallet in front to be rid of them. Gil cap, no friend list, no free company, no housing, and so many more limitations that start adding up in the mind of a trial player. I love the game but…

@KovuAziva @GameXverse Which I do, but these limitations are a bit over the top and just annoying. Many of my friends have dropped the game due to these functions. For a trial, it shouldn’t be irritating players into paying (which is why I started), it should be exciting them to see more.

@Spyno7 @GameXverse Are we still talking about the trial that give you access to 3 expansions, tousands of hours of potential content, 66% of the entire game, right? Look what a free trial is for any other software and just be grateful that ffxiv is so generous.

@KovuAziva @GameXverse I am in no way saying the trial isn’t generous. I think my criticism is valid, and you ignoring it just because there is lots of content is unhealthy. It’s a business tactic, it’s not generosity.
