@TheRacingLadder @hashjenni Not even that, but this statistic is misleading. 90% of people in China are housed. They do not own their home, they often live with several family members spanning upwards of 3 generations which is common in Asian cultures

@TheRacingLadder @hashjenni Eso se renueva automáticamente, estuve leyendo y al parecer muchos usan esa entrega a cambio de efectivo porque el gobierno compra esas casas a sobreprecio para construir. Y con ese dinero se mudan a un mejor lugar o le pagan la universidad a los hijos.

@TheRacingLadder @hashjenni It is not the government that owns it, but the country. This means you don't have to pay property taxes. After 70 years, you only need to pay a few hundred dollars for the transfer fee and can continue to live in the house for another 70 years·
