So now I have a Titan/Tyrolit stone inbound, Tyrolit bench stones, I already have many ground flat Norton stone sets, and am grinding/lapping some 17-4 H900 blocks. We shall test!

Yea, the first thing to do with a brand new vise is to scratch the shit out of the surface ground mating face with a hard bench stone. Precision ground flat stone? Sure! Arkansas stone? Sure! Bench stone? You are an animal!
