Head of VCT Pacific & VALORANT Esports APAC Jake Sin addressed the competitive integrity concerns, including reports of players' headsets not fully covering their ears, audible Korean caster audio, and others in Kickoff:
"Hey everyone, I know there has been a lot of discussion recently about the competitive integrity concerns raised by members of our league. I wanted to let you all know that the investigations have already been ongoing since these issues first emerged.
We take these claims very seriously, as they pertain to the competitive integrity of our league, so we are investigating them as comprehensively as possible. While I understand it can be frustrating not to see immediate action, I ask for your patience as we examine the situation thoroughly.
It's incredibly important to us that our members feel comfortable and safe to raise concerns. However, it’s equally important that any assertions of competitive integrity breaches are reported directly to league officials with substantiated evidence so we can collaborate closely to address them effectively and quickly. Let's work together to uphold competitive integrity and facilitate positive change for our sport.
