DeFi Composability for RWAs Stellar network is meant for real assets, used by real people, with real activity. DeFi composability for RWAs is essential for that. However, regulations currently prevent the vast majority of RWAs from being freely transferable and thus fully composable. Still, notable issuers of freely transferable RWAs on Stellar include @etherfuse and @centrifuge, which wraps existing tokenized securities like JTRSY (tokenized U.S. treasuries) into freely transferable tokens via its deRWA token standard. DeFi composability for existing and new RWAs is a priority for SDF in 2026, which has set a goal to sign 15 new enterprises in 2026, with at least five deployed on the network by year-end. Target organizations include Forbes Global 2000 companies, leading international NGOs, and government agencies that can use the Stellar network to power payments, treasury management, settlement, and other financial workflows.
