It looks like former MP turned GB News presenter Miriam Cates briefly had her X account hacked by Bitcoin scammers. Cates was a prominent backer of astro-turf covid sceptic group UsForThem, which campaigned against anything that might stop kids getting sick during the pandemic.

Miriam Cates is apparently the latest in a long line of gullible sceptics and conspiracy theorists to lose their X accounts to obvious phishing attacks. Including HART's Norman Fenton, far right fake union leader Robin Tilbrook, and Naomi Wolf's husband. x.com/i/status/20353…
