The greatest trick Indian OTAs pull is that you have to "claim" refunds for cancelled flights. They don't automatically send you the money that they receive from airlines.

@alokebajpai I haven't, Alok. I get the value of "insurance" to get free cancellations and changes. But i don't think consumers should need to pay extra to get their money back under standard cancellation policies.

@banglani Even normal refunds shouldnt take days - we publish this metric every quarter, last quarter our average refund time was just over 3 and a half hours. You need to switch the OTA you use :)
