My advice would be DO NOT believe a word the BBC says about Iran.
We have now found out they parroted the IRGC lie about the School that was hit after Iran have admitted it was them and not Israel (see Thread) - they still have not retracted it.
It’s Al-Ahli Hospital lie all over again.
Remember the Gazan Al-Ahli hospital?
The BBC, reported it as being hit by an Israeli airstrike. A lie that Hamas had published and the media ran with immediately.
The BBC’s Jeremy Bowen even said the hospital was “totally flattened”
It turned out, the hospital car park was hit with a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket.
This misinformation blaming Israel set the Middle East on fire.
Calls for the death of Israel were heard across multiple countries. Embassies attacked. An ancient synagogue in Tunisia was desecrated. Global antisemitism sky rocketed.
It wasn’t until all of that damage was done that the BBC and Jeremy Bowen admitted they got it wrong.
And of course, Jeremy Bowen said he didn’t regret it or “feel particularly bad about it”
Read and watch below:
Jeremy Bowen: "I don't regret one thing in my reporting because I was measured throughout, I didn't race to judgement"
Interviewer: But you said that building had been flattened?
Jeremy Bowen: "Oh yeah well I got that wrong because I was looking at the pictures and what I could see was a square that appeared to be flaming on all sides and there was a you know sort of a void in the middle and it was I think it was a picture taken from a drone.
And so you know we have to piece together what we see.
And I thought well that looks like the whole buildings gone and that was my conclusion from looking at the pictures and I was wrong on that, um but I don't feel particularly bad about that."
