@codevsdev did so for 4 decades without it. certainly don't need it but do you want to be building things with heavy equipment or hand tools? if you know how to use heavy equipment effectively you'll never go back to rooting around in the dirt right?

@codevsdev Arduino and some py, I’m not saying don’t learn I’m still learning but, my idea will be dead if trying waiting it out. Stand tall or get left behind. What would Elon do?
English

@codevsdev just did. wrote my own c++ transpiler with books and stackoverflow.. was not much but it was fun

@codevsdev AI causes 98% of delays because of hallucinations. AI sucks at coding.
English

@codevsdev AI usually misses subtle details, which may need tweaking by hand. Otherwise mostly no. Writing something big from scratch or refactoring complex stuff would be just huge waste of time.
English

@codevsdev Sure. I still do it and plan to continue doing it with certain tasks.

@codevsdev i tried a leetcode last week, it was horrendous. i used to be able to do them so fast
English

@codevsdev yes, but i'd be slower. ai speeds up research and boilerplate, not thinking

@codevsdev I can go to Nice on foot (1000 km) but if I have a plane...
English

@codevsdev I have lost that power recently, thinking to start again with a side project.
English

@codevsdev Yes i can, we build full stack systems when there was no AI, stack overflow was king then
English

@codevsdev Yep. And by orders of magnitude, I get less change requests on my PRs & therefore approved way quicker.
