I can’t stop thinking about where Chelsea/Clearlake go from here. At minimum this summer, we need a left winger, a midfielder, a CB, and we have to pray that Colwill returns at the same level. And these players all have to be good, otherwise we will repeat the same season. Does anyone actually think we can pull that off?

Think about how much money we’ve spent and we still have all these needs, it’s such a joke man. Nothing will change man, I’m expecting a terrible end to the season and a terrible summer. They showed last summer that they weren’t willing to build off of a strong season. Hate to say it but I don’t think we’re ever going to be a serious club/title challengers under them.

@flameosumeet We need to sell players , especially at the back and trust me it won’t be easy. So don’t be surprised if we don’t move for anyone meaningful in that department, because we’ve waited and wasted too much money on mediocre CBs that’s come back to bite us financially.

@flameosumeet You forgot to mention that on the commercial side of things, we'd also need a long term FOS sponsor and a bigger stadium.

⚡️The signs at Chelsea aren’t positive. BlueCo aren’t blind, they know the mistakes. Poor recruitment/staff hires, no strengthening, potentially losing elite players, no UCL, no sponsors, no success. But PSR/FFP have boxed them in and that £1.7B spend was wasted & some biard members know it. The real issue is their "arrogance". They ignored everything that worked in the Roman era, tried to force an American model onto a global club, misread the fanbase, and now pride is stopping them from admitting the project is failing.

@flameosumeet issue is, we also need to sell all the players we’ve accumulated that are clearly not good enough + buy players that are of the level. don’t see that happening.

@flameosumeet Diomande should be the LW IMO as he is young and fits the model but is actually very very good, midfielder will probably be Barco as we have seen the briefs on that and not much to say on that one … as for CB that is tougher as I think we have a lot of bad CBs we need to sell

@flameosumeet IMO, our squad has a solid base that we haven't really built for 4 windows running. We can get rid of Delap, Disasi, Tosin, Badiashile, Lavia, Essugo, Jorgensen. New DM, and CB. Pray for Colwill and CP to regain form. Reintegrate Nico with Quenda and Emegha arriving in attack.

@flameosumeet We didn't sign top players after qualifying for the CL/winning the CWC, we aren't going to sign them with no CL, there's a much bigger chance of us losing our good players than signing any.

Hopefully, priority number one is the CB position. LW and midfielder for sure, but look at who’s played the most minutes at CB for us this season… Not good enough for a Club like Chelsea. It’s a shame. For me, we REALLY stagnated when Colwill tore his ACL and the Club then told Maresca to find an “internal solution.”
