Chelsea are behind Liam Rosenior and sympathise that he has come into a situation where the squad is said to be ‘knackered’ and has not had appropriate time to implement his ideas. Summer target lists are underway with all eventualities being considered, as Chelsea feel UCL qualification will likely come down to fine margins in May. There is no current suggestion that the model will be changed. Chelsea also feel that contract statues with many current stars wanting more money is further proof that it would not be wise to chase signings that would be looking for a high base salary. The club want players to be together as a team and earn their money. There is not an appetite to create an entitled and unhealthy culture and the cost to risk ratio is high. Directors are working within the financial restrictions and the model put in place by Behdad Egbhali. There may be an odd exception but generally this is what I’m told. I don't think Liam Rosenior will be sacked this season. He will get to the summer and make changes. I think we could witness massive changes, a mini reset. I dread this but it looks inevitable now with Liam and his intense style. All these "He's not good enough" talk is premature. I won't talk about it again, but I will open a bookmark folder, because I will have to remind you guys. You all said the same about Maresca. Liam has made mistakes but they aren't impossible to fix and he's not dumb not to know that. So, let's see how it goes. But I believe he will come back stronger from this experience. @flameosumeet 1 cb? we need about 2 cbs minimum and probably 3 imo. id only keep josh/chalobah as fourth 5th choice cb's. probably sarr too but he hasnt looked promising, we need 2 starting cbs or 1 starting cb + colwill (assuming he comes back at same lvl). bare minimum 2 cbs imo, maybe 3

I can’t stop thinking about where Chelsea/Clearlake go from here. At minimum this summer, we need a left winger, a midfielder, a CB, and we have to pray that Colwill returns at the same level. And these players all have to be good, otherwise we will repeat the same season. Does anyone actually think we can pull that off?
