@SuperSportTV Steaming is down - no communication, only internal message to call centre staff that the are trying to fix it - we should get a refund for missed days
@SuperSportTV I would know: steam has been die for more than 48 hours, no comms, no information. I’m going to demand a refund and report you to consumer protection and demand you give everyone a refund for the days you are down
@BjornBriggs@DStv They won’t even admit it’s down. There’s no ETA, there’s no comm’s. I’m demanding a refund for the days it’s been down. You should do the same. Maybe if there’s a groundswell of people getting refunds they will sort it out, who knows
@naana_cola@DStv Stream is down and they know this but they not telling us / putting a statement out. There’s no ETA on when we can expect the service to be resorted. I’m going to the ombudsman to get a refund for the missed days, I reccomend you do the same
@wendyknowler@DStv stream has been down for more than 24 hours, there’s no statement, we only know because the call centre has told us. Would we be entitled to recourse in the terms of a refund for not having the service delivered to us? @ICASA_org
@DStv Is it true there is a problem with dstv stream? According to your consultant this is a national problem. I'm frustrated by your service. @Multichoice If this is true why we don't see it in all your platforms
@Riscob77 Yes I think it’s been down for 24 hours but @DStv won’t put out a statement, call centre staff have confirmed it. But Dstv won’t advise way forward, ETA or what the issue is
@DStv after dealing with you guys in the last 12 hours, only to be told this morning that my issue has been escalated, but I have to wait for 48 hours, 48! For feedback. Is it any wonder you are loosing subscribers at such a rapid rate.
So dissatisfied and disappointed.
Water will be restored on low pressure initially. Fire hydrants will be opened to assist with pressure regulation.
It will take time for all properties to receive water as the system stabilises.

Just been to site: update as per JHB Water:
✅ Welding has been completed. The team is waiting for the pipe to cool (approx. 1 hour) before opening the water.
Contractors will monitor the repair closely as water is reintroduced.

JHB Water: Repairs were not completed in the early hours due to technical challenges. The contractor will be back on-site this morning to continue with the repairs.
There is currently no ETR.
