@Eskom_SA @Eskom_SA we currently do not have power in Morningside. We are not getting feedback or updates on what the problem is. It’s been nearly 3 hours now without power.🙏🏽

#EskomUpdate The national power system remains stable, with a month-to-date EAF of 71.50%, up 7.46% year-on-year. Diesel spend: R0.00m this week (vs R10.49m last year). Koeberg Unit 2 marks 40 years of safe nuclear operation on Sunday, 9 November 2025, along with its 20-year licence extension. Grid resilience continues to strengthen. #EnergySecurity #EskomRecovery

@Duchess6401 Good evening, The water outage in your area is due to low water levels at the Illovo Reservoir, which have been affected by ongoing maintenance by Rand Water. We are monitoring the situation and will provide updates as the reservoir levels improve. ^H

Update: Unplanned Maintenance: River Club Repairs have been successfully completed, and water supply from the Morningside Reservoir is now being gradually restored to all affected areas. Full pressure will return as the system recharges. Thank you for your patience. ^H

@Eskom_SA Our power just went off in Morningside, Sandton. Was this planned?

#PowerAlert1 The power system remains stable, with 3 470MW of capacity scheduled to return to service by Monday. Unplanned outages are currently within acceptable levels.
