Spirit & culture wars aside,
PRAGMATA is a great video game.
It pairs really well with Crimson Desert. The gameplay and exploration are narrowly focused, yet equally engaging.
Enough can't be said about the sound design. Collecting resources feels like collect coins as Mario.

Do you not wonder if its importance in history alone, is a sing of its significance to the creator? Or that it might’ve gotten SOME things right. Is there harm in contemplating?

I was recently reminded of John 1:5, "The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot comprehend it." All across the human stage we see this manifested. People moved by the spirit of antichrist can't grasp the goodness of Jesus, so they mock and pervert His name. Games Workshop moved by the spirit of activist can't grasp the position of their opponents, so they slander and warp their own property.

You guys remember that Dragon Age: Origins lets you perform Morrigan’s Dark Ritual, where she conceives a child (Kieran) specifically designed to absorb Urthemiel’s soul so the Grey Warden doesn’t have to die killing the Archdemon?
A whole morally loaded choice: sacrifice yourself, or create a child carrying the soul of an Old God.
Then in Dragon Age: Inquisition, if you did the ritual, Kieran shows up as an Old God child—until Flemeth (Mythal’s vessel) straight up extracts that soul from him.
And immediately after, Solas kills Flemeth and absorbs Mythal’s power… which heavily implies he now also has whatever was taken from Kieran, including that Old God essence.
So now we have:
• Mythal’s power
• an Old God soul (Urthemiel)
• all tied to Solas, the guy planning to tear down the Veil
And then… it’s never acknowledged again, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard seems to sidestep or flatten those choices entirely.
You’re telling me one of the biggest decisions in Origins—literally cheating death and creating a vessel for an Old God soul—just gets funneled into the same endpoint anyway?
What was the point of the choice then.

Capcom is facing accusations from some “fans” over a promotional Twitch chat badge for their newly released game Pragmata.
For the promo, Capcom released an official badge called Cryana. It shows Diana’s face with a crying expression
Some “fans” claim the badge intentionally references an obscure online meme from anime communities and accuse Capcom of using it as pedo bait.
Most of the people call the reaction overreach and argue the badge is simply a standard sad emote for branding and has no hidden meaning.

Deathwatch vs T'au evokes complex emotions for me. In a perfect universe, the Greater Good could coexist with the Imperium of Man. However, it appears the age of diplomacy has passed. There is only war.

Elder Scrolls VI has a Crimson Desert problem.
For 15 years Skyrim was the benchmark. Every open world RPG got compared to it. I think that just ended.
Crimson Desert’s world is so dense that NPCs actually go to church on Sundays. Just Sundays. Rest of the week they’re doing other things. That level of detail is everywhere.
Combat makes Skyrim’s look like a tech demo.
I’m 48 hours in and still wandering the opening area. The scale is absurd.
Pearl Abyss is also shipping daily updates and free DLC while Bethesda is still warming up on Elder Scrolls VI.
So when ES6 finally drops, it’s not getting compared to a 15-year-old game. It’s getting compared to this one.
More Skyrim won’t cut it.
