After those comments, Portuguese fans flooded João Neves’ Instagram with criticism and insults. Then, to make things even worse, Bruno Fernandes came out and backed his statement. I’m actually very happy that the fans are going after the two most important players in the team while leaving Ronaldo alone, even though he’s the one dragging them down. Because of that, Portugal is now dealing with pressure, divisions, and internal problems, which could lead to an early exit from the tournament — maybe even in the group stage. It’s like Qatar all over again right before my eyes. Looks like you’ll be laughing again, Messi. 😭🐐
