Crimson Desert must have come too far from the original vision with all the updates they did cuz I could just fly over it all 🤷
I wonder if at any point Devs thought that people will be doing these platforming as intended i.e. going from one platform to the other.
Just to put into perspective how insanely successful Crimson Desert is (5 million copies in 1 month):
AC Shadows - 5 million (players) in 4 months
Ghost of Tsushima - 5 million in 4 months
Expedition 33 - 5 million in 5 months
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - 5 million in 1 year
@gaersstapa@Vara_Dark It is a massive open world sandbox game with dozens over dozens of different ways to spend your time. You can literally do whatever you want whenever you want.
@Vara_Dark I still don't know what Crimson Desert is, I've not bought it and I'm not planning too.
But lets pretend that you were trying to get someone to play it, elevator pitch, in one sentence what is this game?
@Joseph_Witty I suggest you play more games then honestly. It’s an above average video game with bad combat and very hand holding exploration/quest design
@CrimsonDesert_ Amazing game, amazing devs. Thanks a lot! It’s crazy how 8-9 IGN games peeking at 1/10 of crimson desert playerbase while also getting tons of negative reviews, while the 6/10 game (IGN rating) holds 200k player over a month scoring a 86% positive player reviews on Steam…
#CrimsonDesert has sold through over 5 million copies worldwide!
Thank you to every Greymane who has joined us on this journey, experienced the world of Pywel, and supported the game. Reaching this milestone would not have been possible without your support and we are truly grateful 🙌❤️
@CrimsonDesert_@GeraltOfTotnes Still a shitty physical release that requires internet connection to install.
Only greedy devs do that and I won’t buy your ever😑
Playing Crimson Desert again today reminded me of how absolutely, completely, and utterly full of bullshit many of the boss fights are.
No, that's not an opinion. Pearl Abyss sucks ass at boss fight design.
Some absolute shit design here.
Retard desert needs to remove like 99% of the game focus on combat, make shit clear , we don’t even want hand holding, make it like Elden ring get ur sh** together we want to play it why are you stopping us with these controls and inability to ski p cutscenes
I just finished some basic quest and went to untie a guy and it took 15 minutes. I couldn’t even skipped through it. Why do I need to hold the button down to fast forward? What crack pipe were the developers smoking? I literally am so curious.
@ACIWES@SynthPotato Have you even watched gameplay of Crimson Desert lol? I don't even have the game but have put hundreds of hours into ER and it doesn't even come close to what CD has to offer in terms of open world opportunities
100 hours into Crimson Desert and I am ready to say it:
Crimson Desert has the best open world I have possibly ever played.
More unique content than TOTK, BOTW, Elden Ring, Almost as detailed as RDR2, More to explore than KCD2, Witcher 3.
I’ve never seen ANYTHING like this.
Yo cobro 5.500€
Ella cobra 1.400€
Le propongo ir a medias:
Yo → 600€
Ella → 600€
Pero dice que no.
Que como gano mucho más,
debería ser:
Yo → 1.000€
Ella → 200€
Dice que es “lo justo”.
Yo no lo veo así.
¿Quién está equivocado?
God’s heart is torn apart by wars, violence, injustice and lies. But our Father’s heart is not with the wicked, the arrogant, or the proud. God’s heart is with the little ones and the humble, and with them He builds up His Kingdom of love and peace day by day. Wherever there is love and service, God is there. #ApostolicJourney#Algeria
@gat0598@Gucci_VonDucci@SynthPotato I couldn’t agree less. Combat feels absolutely amazing. You have dozens of fantastic tools. Focus on upgrading your gear and use abyss cores. Learn how to use force palm and use focus to your advantage.
New rule: stop comparing open world RPGs to Skyrim.
Crimson Desert is the new benchmark.
It’s Skyrim on steroids and when Elder Scrolls 6 releases it will be compared to Crimson Desert, not Skyrim.
Let’s see if Bethesda can clear that bar.
