Tradition never goes out of style in @footballopelika, this week's featured helmet for Workshop Wednesday. The Bulldogs’ helmet remains one of Alabama’s classics: a glossy red shell that shines even brighter thanks to the silver flake finish, paired with a black facemask and the iconic white/black/white center stripe that has defined generations of Opelika football. The recent return of the “DAWGS” decal was a welcome sight for many, bringing back a look that had long been synonymous with Bulldog football. Adding another layer of history, this helmet still carries the Super 7 decal from Opelika’s most recent trip to the state championship game. Founded in 1911, Opelika High School was Lee County’s first official county high school, and Bulldog football has been building its legacy since 1922. The program’s first meeting with crosstown rival Auburn came in 1925, and while the Tigers claimed that inaugural contest, Opelika holds the edge in the all-time series and won the most recent chapter—a semifinal battle with a state championship berth at stake. A helmet rich in tradition. A program rich in history. @ALHSHelmets @footballopelika I will have to say new HC did not pick the new uniforms, they were already ordered by former coach,AD and Principal. These new uniforms are not exactly the style the new HC would prefer. But hopefully an improvement over the old uniforms

Today’s #WorkshopWednesday brings us @AuburnHighFB led by @keithetheredge1! Auburn High’s helmet is packed with details. From the bumpers to the chinstrap, every element was thoughtfully designed to honor the program’s identity. The classic “A” logo remains front and center, while the helmet itself has similarities to Auburn University with its iconic shell color and center stripe configuration, reflecting the city pride that both institutions display. As the oldest high school in Alabama, Auburn High carries a rich football history that has been reflected through generations of helmet designs—from blue shells to chrome finishes. Today’s look blends that history with a timeless, traditional style, creating a helmet that respects the past while representing the pride of the present. Today’s #MockUpMonday brings us @PlainviewFB1! For this edition we decided to provide an alternate helmet for Plainview using their tertiary color, that beautiful Carolina Blue! We didn’t want to mess with tradition too much so we tried to keep the look simple with the paw print on the side and the white and navy stripes on the center!
