@alojoh @xiaopenghexpeng Simple way to verify is: would you put your family behind the wheel of a VLA2.0 and when? These demos mean nothing for handling edge cases in real world except for using these to devalue $TSLA for a better entry point.

@DavidMoss Imagine all the law-fare they will have to deal with and pay for when UHF invariably runs into things it shouldn’t. They are gambling big time by rushing it onto streets in its current state. Basically one big class action lawsuit away from them becoming a VW brand.

$NVDA Jensen just now at GTC when asked about the most exciting update post openclaw that he wants to see develop: “I’d like to see self-driving cars without needing billions of miles for the car to train on. The car should be able to reason by itself.”

$F spent ~$20 Billion to build the F150 Lightning, then gave up on it and took a $20 Billion write-down of impairment. Ford has spent ~$40 Billion on EVs so far. It's estimated that traditional car companies have invested more than $100 Billion on EVs with little to nothing to show for it. What that tells you is that building a compelling EV is difficult and extremely expensive. There has only been one major car company, $TSLA, that has done it profitably so far. The question remains, will there be a 2nd? My bet is that yes, there will be a 2nd US-based profitable EV company, and it will be $RIVN. BUT, that's not why I'm investing in Rivian. The reasons I'm investing in Rivian is because: 1) Today, you can buy ALL of Rivian for just $19 Billion! The ENTIRE company! That's less than Ford spent on just 1 vehicle! And instead of 1 Vehicle. And instead of 1 vehicle, you get 4 vehicles: - R1T -> award-winning EV Truck - R1S -> best selling luxury EV SUV - EDV -> #1 EV Delivery Van - R2 -> The New ~$50K mass-market vehicle 2) Unlike Ford and virtually all other traditional car-makers, Rivian EVs contain in-house technology for electronics, battery, software and self-driving. These investments make for far superior vehicles that are largely software-upgradeable, and even make the cost of the vehicles cheaper to produce as the volume of production goes up. Only Rivian and Tesla have taken this "full-stack" approach to building their vehicles. 3) Besides getting 4 vehicles for the $19 Billion price-tag, you also get: - 97 Rivian Service Centers - 36 Rivian Showrooms - 141 Rivian Fast-Charging Stations with 900+ stalls Despite how long it takes to build such infrastructure, that literally nobody other than Tesla has, you get all of that for free, included in the $19 Billion price tag. 4) Also included in the $19 Billion price tage, you also get ~$6 Billion of cash for operations (which includes ~$4 Billions of debt, so ~$2 Billion net cash). An additional $2 Billion of investment coming in 2026 from VW will also add to the cash (and will likely increase the market cap). 5) Rivian has spent over $25 Billion and 16+ years to get to where its at. So the barrier to entry is INCREDIBLY hard. Lots of dead EV startups. Despite this, and the fact that Rivian is finally on the verge of explosion, the whole company is priced at just $19 Billion! So when I look at Rivian holistically, and see what I get for a $19 Billion price tag, I absolutely love what I see. This is how I view investments. I look at is from the perspective of "If I had $19 Billion to buy the whole thing, is it a good deal?" and if the answer is "yes!" then buying part of it is just as good of a deal, maybe better, because you also get @RJScaringe to run it for you!

This would have been a worry if $TSLA is a car company. But since all of our revenue is generated by Robotaxis and Humanoid Robots, we are safe. Btw, "Tesla is worth roughly $1.23T, more than eight times $Uber's $151B market cap."

@alojoh @EndWokeness Perpetual thoughts, stress, anxiety are all side effects of what we call intelligence. Smarter you are, more you suffer. Meditation is a method to teach mind to turn off these side effects so intelligence can function in a more healthy manner.

Interesting. I wish there was a way to find out whether this is real. It could open up a new and interesting research angle. If what she says is true there appears to be a completely different ‘software’ setup in humans. I can say with absolute certainty there was not a single moment in my conscious life in which I experienced anything similar to what that woman described. In fact I wish I could turn it off but it’s impossible. My wife is the same. She is also constantly thinking about things. Complete silence of thought is not unattainable.

@hamids Tesla makes a lot of money selling at their price point. Rivian loses a lot of money selling at their price point. Unfortunately, this will only expedite Rivian’s transition into being a VW brand.

$TSLA Model Y Performance vs. $RIVN R2 Performance Launch Edition This is waaay better pricing than I expected for launch! R2 Performance launch is basically the same price as a Model Y, but: - R2 gives you serious off-road capabilities. Model Y does not. - R2 gives you a driver's screen with essentials so you don't have to look to the center to see speed/etc. This is a concern for a lot of drivers. - R2 Launch edition includes Autonomy+ for Free, which has a $2,500 price tag and currently gives you hands-off driving. Tesla no longer includes Autopilot without the purchase of FSD, so this is a pretty big deal! It means R2 has more self-driving capabilities included than Model Y. - Tesla has FSD options for an extra $99/month. Rivian currently does not have point-to-point driving. However, it's worth noting that fewer than 20% of Tesla owners choose to buy FSD.

🔥We nailed it yet again: Xpeng is up 21% in the last 5 weeks. That's 21% for our subscribers. Best subscription on X for investors. On February 2 at $16.4: "Xpeng is oversold ...add more at this price...one of our top China picks" Today, March 12: Xpeng trades at $19.7. @grok how do you rate @alojoh's prediction?

And the fact that they waited til the last minute before wiring $2B to xAI is worth pondering. I am not too happy with TeslaAI team getting distracted with whatever this digital Optimus is. Tesla AI was supposed to be getting unsupervised done and shipped before cybercab production ramps in April. Stock will tank if they miss April deadline.

@DevinOlsenn Can you imagine having to live through those pesky FSD issues all over again? Maybe once they reach parity with FSD, it could become a contender.

The Rivian R2 announcements which includes pricing, specs and delivery ETA. Truthfully the R2 looks amazing and the price seems great too. If UHF ends up being as good as FSD I would consider an R2 as my next vehicle over the Model Y. In my opinion this is the exact vehicle that is missing from teslas lineup - I think it’ll be incredibly popular. What do you all think?

🚨 ALPAMAYO AUTONOMOUS DRIVING SYSTEM WAS TESTED TODAY BY NVIDIA'S CEO JENSEN HUANG 🔥 Here's a summary of everything you need to know about the test: During a real-world test drive into San Francisco, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and an engineering colleague demonstrated the Alpamayo autonomous driving system, highlighting its unique "fusion" architecture. The system combines an end-to-end (E2E) neural network with a classical human-engineered stack. This hybrid approach is designed to provide "superhuman" driving capabilities while maintaining a traceable, rule-based safety guardrail that prevents the car from performing "out of distribution" or unsafe maneuvers. The E2E model, which Huang noted drives in a remarkably "human-like" and graceful manner, is capable of complex reasoning and generalizing from a massive dataset of human driving. During the test, the vehicle successfully navigated tricky highway interchanges, handled occlusions at high speeds, and performed "nudge" maneuvers around double-parked vehicles and construction cones. The developers emphasized that the E2E model's speed of iteration is incredibly high, with roughly seven new model versions being generated every day. Safety and validation were central themes of the test. The team utilizes a "functional scenario tree" and AI tools to curate data for specific road conditions, alongside a closed-loop evaluation system (CLU) that runs 2 million tests daily in a reconstructed pixel-perfect world. This rigorous testing helped the system achieve the highest rating in the 2025 NCAP standards, which the speakers noted are increasingly rigorous. The hardware supporting this software includes a custom-built, functionally safe computer powered by 10 cameras, 5 radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. Looking forward, the team is integrating a "reasoning system" and "Cosmos" (a generative world model) to handle rare "long tail" corner cases by changing environmental factors like weather and lighting in simulation. Huang concluded that this combination of a human-like E2E model and a rigid safety stack makes the technology ready to scale from L2++ to L4 robotaxis. Video source: NVIDIA Youtube channel
