@OCTOPIZZO Hii ndio shida ya ignorant people speaking on issues they know nothing about, fuel prices are high because of the war in Iran, taxes on fuel help build and maintain roads, that's why fuel is more expensive in Europe than in Kenya and Cheaper in Uganda or Burundi.

The continued rise in cooking gas and fuel prices is placing an unsustainable burden on citizens. It is important for both current leaders and those now in opposition to recognize that this generation is informed, aware, and attentive. June 25, 2024 marked a turning point, a reminder that accountability must be consistent. Those who once supported policies contributing to today’s challenges cannot simply rebrand themselves without addressing their past positions. Leadership must be grounded in responsibility, transparency, and genuine commitment to the people not convenience. @NdindiNyoro

DEAR LADIES, Frame B is the right way for a lady to sit: Close or put your legs together. Frame A is a photo of Kenya First Lady Rachel Ruto. This is an example of how should ladies not expected to sit. Recently, have seen many elderly women sitting like her. Yet they were c!rcumcised. Guess Gen Z should also understand the culture. White ladies have respect than even African women. They have respect.

🚨🚨 TRUMP HAS 3 OPTIONS LEFT IN IRAN. ALL 3 ARE CATASTROPHIC. This is the moment nobody wants to talk about. After weeks of airstrikes, drone wars, and escalation → America is now boxed into THREE choices. And every single one is a nightmare: ⚠️ OPTION 1: RETREAT – Pull out of Iran completely – Lose the Middle East FOREVER – Israel left to fight alone against Iran, Hezbollah, and proxies on every border – America looks weak to China, Russia, and every enemy watching – The dollar's oil backing — GONE ⚠️ OPTION 2: BOOTS ON THE GROUND – Send American soldiers into Iran — a country of 90 MILLION people – Mountain terrain. Urban warfare. A population ready for martyrdom. – Afghanistan lasted 20 years and cost $2.3 TRILLION against 40 million people – Iran is MORE than DOUBLE that population with a REAL military – Thousands of American troops come home in body bags ⚠️ OPTION 3: NUCLEAR – Bomb Iran with nukes – Risk global destruction – Russia and China have BOTH warned they won't stand by – The entire world turns against America overnight – Civilization as we know it — OVER Let that sink in. There is no Option 4. There is no clean exit. There is no "we win and go home." The media is showing you victory speeches and Iron Dome clips. They're NOT showing you that every path forward leads to disaster. This is the most dangerous decision any American president has faced since 1945.

No, not based on available evidence. Preliminary US military probes conclude it was an accidental Tomahawk strike from outdated intel: the school building was formerly part of an adjacent IRGC naval base targeted in early 2026 Iran conflict strikes. Missile fragments match US munitions. War crimes under IHL (Geneva, Rome Statute) require intentional directing of attacks at civilians/civilian objects. This appears a mistaken identity error, not deliberate. HRW/UN experts call for full probe into precautions taken, citing high civilian toll (~170 dead, mostly kids). US officials say no intent to hit school; investigation ongoing. Tragic loss in active war.

The US military accidentally struck an Iranian elementary school, in an attack that state media said killed at least 168 children and 14 teachers, likely due to outdated information about a nearby naval base, according to two sources briefed on the preliminary findings of an ongoing military investigation. cnn.it/4ruWgX8

Apparently in Israel they do not allow any Israeli to post videos of the destruction being caused by Iran. And if you do, then they could sentence you to five years in prison. But why would they arrest people for posting images of a war that they are winning? Do you see how the so called democratic countries protect the images of their nations by muzzling free speech?

Cheers, Rigathi Gachagua, for boldly initiating NORTHERN KENYA (NFD) development accountability conversation. If 75% of Kenya's landmass is sorted, to correct internal & external historical injustice to her people, Kenya at large wins big! Walee Akhiiro Sual baa Jiirta! Leadership is not a privilege granted for personal gain; it is a sacred responsibility entrusted for the protection of human life and dignity. Judged by this standard and its wisdom, the situation in North Eastern Kenya demands an honest conversation, self reflection and urgent action. Today, conditions in the region have deteriorated so severely that even camels, animals that have evolved over time to endure some of the harshest environments on planet earth, are dying from thirst and hunger. If this is the fate of such resilient and adaptable creatures, what hope remains for human beings in the region? SubhanAllah! Orphans go hungry. Widows cry out in silence and in excruciating pain. The sick are denied even the most basic medical care, because of the greed and neglect of those entrusted with leadership. The Holy Qur’an issues a clear warning: those who unjustly consume the wealth of orphans, widows and the general Ummah are consuming fire into their bellies and will be burned in a blazing Hell. The Holy Qur’an further reminds us that all shall be resurrected and called to account for their deeds, and for the suffering they inflicted upon their victims; the Ummah. SubhanAllah ! Power has a way of deceiving its holders into believing that the consequences of their wrongdoing can be avoided. Yet on Yaumul Qiyamah, ill-gotten wealth will offer no refuge and earthly titles will carry no weight. The question will not be how powerful one was, but how just and true they were to the trust bestowed upon them to be exercised rightly and justly on behalf of the Ummah. SubhanAllah! For the leaders of North Eastern Kenya know, beyond any doubt, that accountability does not end in this world. Divine Justice is inevitable and you shall account for the tears of all those whose suffering and pain you have caused! Kuwi lacagtena cuneen, duxuul nareed Allah SWT hauga digo! Even as we demand accountability and continue to firmly hold the leaders of North Eastern Kenya responsible for neglecting the Ummah, we call upon the Government to urgently declare the ongoing drought a national disaster and to mobilize all available resources to save lives. We further appeal to the International Community and Development Partners to step in and provide immediate humanitarian assistance to alleviate the suffering of the affected communities.

@Realkangethe The anxiety by some Kikuyus over Mama Ida Odinga’s UNEP appointment is puzzling. Asking her to decline it raises an honest question, when did this sudden affection for the Odingas emerge?

HAPPENING NOW!! Mama Ida Odinga has rejected the UNEP job offered to her by William Ruto and told him to give it to her daughter Charlene instead. She has accused Ruto of using cunning tactics to divide ODM through Oburu Odinga while pretending to help the party. Mama Ida says she will do everything possible to protect Baba’s legacy and ensure ODM remains united, with everyone heard and listened to. Things are boiling nicely. Eloi! Let me close this update with a Chungwa House proverb that says, “When an orphan is offered a larger share of food, just know the food is poisoned.”

When Kabogo and Lee Kinjanjui were being appointed to Cabinet, no one told them to reject. Kwani State appointments are a reserve of one tribe? Kwani us Luos are just meant to make noise on the sidelines? We are not going to be spectators anymore. We are going to be active players in this country's leadership. Mama Ida's appointment is welcomed and well deserved.

The “national schools” were built, equipped and staffed using TAXPAYERS’ money by ALL Kenyans from ALL ethnic groups and areas. The British colonialists and Kenyatta took money from the Treasury (money deducted from all Kenyans’ taxes). To claim otherwise is to be an intoxicated tribalist.

One honest conversation we need to have about Morocco is its deliberate investment in infrastructure. They have modern stadiums across major cities, highways that actually connect the country, and a functioning rail network. Their cities are organised, clean, and well maintained, supported by mass transit systems. If it frustrates us to see Morocco host major African tournaments, then sub-Saharan Africa must level up. Emotion will not compensate for planning, execution, and long-term investment.
