56yo never voted once. I felt that every political group was harming the UK & the brits so I didn't vote for them.
Now I see #restorebritain as the light at the end of a dark tunnel & they're getting my cherry vote.

🇺🇸🇻🇪 Federal prosecutors in Miami have been quietly told to stand down on criminal investigations into Venezuela's acting president, Delcy Rodríguez.
Rodríguez took power after U.S. forces captured Nicolás Maduro in January. She's been on the DEA's radar since 2018, with files alleging drug trafficking, gold smuggling, and money laundering.
Her name surfaced in nearly a dozen DEA investigations.
The DOJ denies there was ever a formal probe to shut down, but officials told the AP "everybody has been told to stand down."
The strategic logic is real.
The U.S. toppled Maduro, lifted sanctions on Rodríguez, recognized her as head of state, and is now pouring oil deals into Venezuela.
Trump called her a "terrific person." Critics call it the politicization of the DOJ.
One former prosecutor warned the White House "cannot use criminal enforcement as a diplomatic light switch."
The bigger question is whether realpolitik this aggressive locks in a Venezuela win or quietly sets a precedent that outlives the moment.

He wants Trump to designate criminal organizations like the Comando Vermelho and the PCC as terrorist groups. These factions already operate as parallel governments across entire regions of Brazil, controlling territory, extorting residents, and ruling through fear. His argument is simple: the people living under their boot deserve to be freed, and international pressure is one of the few tools strong enough to break factions that have outgrown the Brazilian state itself. He drew a sharp line with Lula. According to Flávio, Lula plans to travel to the U.S. to try to prevent that terrorist classification, while Flávio asked for the opposite, international backing to fight organized crime rather than shield it. He framed it as a choice between aligning with developed democracies or "kissing up to dictatorships," a clear shot at Lula's warmth toward Caracas, Havana, and Beijing. The underlying question is a fair one. When criminal armies govern neighborhoods the official government can't even enter, is calling them terrorists an overreach or just an honest description?
