When you play in 11 aside games you don't touch the ball a lot and you have more time to rest than playing 5v5 games.
5v5 is the most intensive game you can play in trainings and that's where coaches pick their starting 11 for the weekend games.
You also Argue that 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, 6v6, 7v7 are all games that coaches use for intensive training sessions and during this games that are played for 3-6min per games you get all you need to play in a 11v11 games.

Valid point Boss, Off ball movement in 11v11 is genuinely underrated defensive transitions, pressing triggers, runs in behind that never get the ball. That workload is invisible on a highlight reel but very real on your legs.
But apply that same logic to 5 aside and it gets worse. In 5 aside your off ball movement has to be INSTANT because the ball arrives back before you've even recovered from your last run. There's no 30 second phase where you jog back into shape. The game resets in seconds.
Off ball running exists in both. 5 aside just doesn't give you time to breathe between each one.

In 11v11 a fullback can go 10-15 mins barely touching the ball. A striker can walk through phases and still look busy. In 5-aside? There is NOWHERE to hide. Every 3-4 seconds the ball can reach you again. You are involved in literally every phase of play. That's not easier. That's exhausting.

Exactly what I said yesterday. People arguing at that point don't play 5 aside. I played yesterday, although I wasn't exhausted because I'm used to it, but I'll tell you this. You can't walk 30 seconds in 5 aside without the ball coming to your side, but you can walk in a big field for 3 minutes and the ball won't touch your leg. I have a tournament today in a big field, and I've seen some of the really good players in big field flop on 5 aside.

Bro! The last time I played 5-a-side, it was with some academy boys. My God, what my eyes saw that day ehn. I think I did 20 minutes and immediately asked to be substituted. The movement, the speed, the intensity, it was relentless. Before you control the ball, someone is already breathing down your neck. I simply could not keep up.

After those comments, Portuguese fans flooded João Neves’ Instagram with criticism and insults. Then, to make things even worse, Bruno Fernandes came out and backed his statement.
I’m actually very happy that the fans are going after the two most important players in the team while leaving Ronaldo alone, even though he’s the one dragging them down. To Messi's credit, he makes all the difference. We keep saying they are helping Messi win, but the truth is, he is helping them win. Their job is easier with him in the team.
Ronaldo has carried Portugal for over 20 years through qualifiers and tournaments. I don't have a problem with other players wanting to step up. But they can see how hard it is. At 41, he is still their best goal scorer and they are acting like they can outscore him. If nobody wants to step up, they should get out so serious teams can continue.
