How can you invite a girl from Abuja to Lagos, you paid for her flight and every logistics. She got to Lagos, and on the first night, she said she wanted to go say hi to a friend. Anyways, Bayo just came back from US for just 2 weeks holiday, he lodged at an apartment in Lekki

It's crazy to think that Vedat Muriqi scored 23 goals for Mallorca and they still got relegated from La Liga. Reminder: Getafe only scored 32 goals and secured UEFA Conference League football. Football works in mysterious ways...

Bournemouth sold *check notes* Zabarnyi for £57m, Huijsen £50m, Kerkez £40m, Ouattara £45m and Semenyo for £65m in January for a very grand total of £257m *checks maths. not a strength*. Bournemouth continued playing attractive, winning football, ending the season unbeaten in 18, sixth in the table and qualified for Europe for the first time ever in their 127 years. Iraola has done a magnificent job – and so has Bournemouth’s recruitment department. Kroupi and Scott the latest gems being polished. Senesi, a £12m signing from Feyenoord four years ago, leaves a free agent to Spurs with plenty of good wishes following his fine defensive service over 128 games. Bournemouth get good value out of players and/or good value for them. Well-run club. Pity that Iraola is leaving and missing out on the European adventure that he helped secure. Leaves team in good shape for incoming Rose. Coaches and players...it's all in the succession planning. #AFCB

Michael Essien’s wife, 𝐀𝐤𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐚 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐢 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐧, will forever have a place in Como 1907’s modern story. In 2017, she bought the struggling Italian club at auction when they were battling financial problems and facing an uncertain future. Her move helped keep Como alive before a bigger rebuild followed. That moment also strengthened Como’s connection with 🇬🇭 Ghana. The relationship grew over the years, and some of the club’s players even visited Ghana last year to connect with the country, experience its football culture and build ties beyond Italy. Years later, the Indonesian Djarum Group took over and gave Como fresh structure and investment. Cesc Fabregas also became part of the project, first as a player and minority shareholder before becoming head coach. Under Fabregas, Como have now made history by qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history.

GROUP C BRAZIL, MOROCCO, SCOTLAND AND HAITI. Brazil. Part 1 Nickname: Seleção(The National Squad). Personal nickname: gods of football Head coach: Carlo Ancelotti. History was made when Ancelotti became the first non Brazilian to take charge of the Brazilian national team. Opening match: Morocco World Ranking: 6th. Formation: 4:2:4, 4:3:3. It'll depend heavily on the opponent. I expect a full throttle four man attack in their group stage. Pattern of play: Carlo will play to the strength of his players. I expect them to hold the ball and use the width. In the end, the pattern of play will come down to what version of Neymar turns up. Best world Cup finish: 5 times champion. Enough said. Team captain: Marquinhos. Although I wouldn't be surprised if Neymar gets it( if he wants it). Oddity: They're the only national team to have played in every single world Cup. All 23 tournaments since inception. Best world cup moment: Good luck to anyone tryna to choose a single best moment. They're like 50 of them. I will go with the picture of A 17 year old Pele crying and carried by his teammates after scoring twice in a 5:2 final victory against Sweden in 1958. It is perhaps the most iconic picture in world cup history. Worse world Cup moments: Only two stood out. The disaster of 1950 and the 2014 humiliation at the hands if Germany. I have opted for the "maracanazo". I am taking special liberty to discuss the maracanazo ( the smash of the maracana). Brazil only needed a draw against Uruguay in the final match in 1950 to win the world Cup. It was estimated that 200,000 fans packed the maracana expecting an easy victory. The game was tied 1:1 until Alcides Ghiggia scored in the 79th minute to secure a 2:1 Victory for Uruguay. The shock was so monumental that Brazil was never the same again. They were cases of people committing suicides. Many likened the defeat to the blast of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It was a literal disaster. The White jerseys worn at the final was permanently retired and they switched to the green and yellow we know today. The goalkeeper Moarcia Barbosa( pictured below) was scapegoated all his life. He was seen as a national curse. In 1970 in a supermarket, a woman pointed at him telling her son:" This is the man who made all Brazil cried ". He was refused entrance into the training ground of Brazil 1994 World cup squad because they felt he might bringbring " Bad luck ". The CBF refused to allow him work as a commentator. Barbosa died at age 79 in 2000, penniless. He was so ostracized from society be couldn't even survive. One of his reported final words were: "Under Brazilian law, the maximum sentence for a crime is 30 years. But my imprisonment has been for 50." Barbosa will go down as one of the most tragic moment in world Cup history. I hope one day, the ghost of the maracanazo can be burnt and Brazil remember Barbosa ( who was actually the goalkeeper of the tournament) for what he was; a patriot who bled and ultimately died for his Nation.

@tobyasky 6 opponent players in your box is most likely resulting to a goal tactically, that’s crazy tho.🤩 looking at the time and the score line you’d figure that Inter-Miami must have tried to attack aggressively couple time like this that leave their own defense no chance.🤷‍♂️
