I am in villages Sappanwali & Dhani Kalu Wali, more than 500 acres still submerged, hail damage, yet no one has yet seen the DC, SDM nor the Tehsilsar. Punjab Govt did not compensate orchardists in Fazilka district for last year Monsoon floods & now villages are hit again. The govt is morally and financially bankrupt - cannot even give March salaries to govt employees without a new loan but has money to send people on free religious trips, spend thousands of crores on advertisement in last 4 years and paint village schools - vehicles in AAP party colour.

Fury of the weather gods. Mann sab, the window is very short for special girdawri, so please make sure DC's, SDM's, Tehsildar's & Patwari's are on the ground & please don't forget the horticulturists & vegetable growers. Cataract check up camp organized by #TheJakharTrust in collab with Sri Jagdamba Eye Hospital (Ganganagar), in Dalmirkhera yesterday. Through the years our trust has gotten more than 1700 operations done. Thank you @Team_SJ_ & visiting doctors. 202 patients today, of which 22 will be operated upon in the hospital. @JagdishKho41093

Was invited to the Food & Allied Workers Union Conference in Abohar. Have assured them of organizing a meeting with @sunilkjakhar ji regarding their demands. They work very hard moving grains from the Mandi's to various warehouses & fertilizers from train racks to farmers fields. During Covid, it was their dedication & sweat that food grains were supplied where needed.

Widespread losses to crops & orchards due to hail & rain in our Abohar constituency. Weather gods are quite upset with us, it seems. Praying for no more rain & a quick girdawri by the govt to access losses. And please don't leave out the horticulturists. @CsPunjab @BhagwantMann
