@SubcommanderT @agraphafx I watched my taped-off-TV VHS cassettes so often that I can spot any differences instantly. Sometimes it’s just one line in the middle of a scene— one example is Uhura saying, “Captain, I’m frightened” in COTEOF.

@agraphafx I didn’t see the gymnastics until I bought the VHS tape. I think most stations cut out that little bit (among other things) to create time for more commercials

Gaslight and The Maltese Falcon are both remakes. That's always worth remembering, since our first instinct is often to say it's sacrilegious to remake a classic. I think we should be open to remakes of our best films.
And I want to go on record that Steven Seagal would kill it as Rick Blaine in "Pistol Whipped in Casablanca."

So @springsteen tickets went on sale at noon for the Austin show. I was logged into my @Ticketmaster account and watched minutes & seconds tick down to noon where my screen informed me to sit tight. 5 minutes later first thing that appeared was “sorry, sold out.” Someone explain?
