But then @erica53643350 blocked me from responding, which is telling. So here's my response to her: @erica53643350, I am not trying to snag @NotAvgLiberal with gotcha questions. I am asking because we share a similar background, and I am trying to understand his point of view. It's called debate and/or friendly discourse, where two people can discuss differing views with respect. When I said that I was intrigued, I meant that I wanted to more fully understand his point of view, full stop.

Married 33 years, put two kids through college, never took a dime from the government and put myself through college, law school, and a masters of law program without a dime from my family. Also a supporter of the 2nd Amendment. And while, I didn't serve in the military, I come from a multi-generational military family: both grandfathers, my father (38 years AF), grandfather-in-law (36 years Navy), father-in-law (34 years Navy), husband (28 years Navy), brother-in-law (27 years Navy), brother-in-law (34 years AF). I am a Republican, but wouldn't say that I'm MAGA. You are obviously a Democrat who doesn't agree with Trump's war in Iran. A few questions for you: (1) how do you feel about the rampant health-care and child-care fraud that has recently been exposed in Minnesota and California which are Democrat run states; (2) how do you square your feelings about the current war in Iran with Obama's military intervention in Libya, Syria, Pakistan, Somalia, and Yemen; (3) how do/did you feel about Biden's vaccine mandate for federal workers and military members; and (4) do you think that people who entered the country illegally (and in violation of federal immigration laws) should be deported?
