I still prefer to paint mine like 30k even when I am painting 40k hands.
Blue, silver, and black with bits of white and red just looks good.
It also bugs me how gw also screws up the scheme on their own models, not giving them metal hands for instance.

As a newcommer (so correct me if I got anything wrong) the only legion that seems to take an aesthetic nosedive from 30k to 40k are the Iron hands. The blue lenses and silver trim over black looks so much better, Id paint primaris like this, codex be damned.
