He is fucken activist. I enjoyed his performance in BG3, some scenes were hilarious. But for fuck sake, shut the fuck up. You got paid for promoting game and promoting D&D, not promoting Agenda. People like this, heck, actors from Hollywood like this, Music Stars - all those people are Risk for Brand right now, employing them and their "preaching" is bad for business, D&D will never heal with people like this being its forefront.

New D&D Dungeon Masters and Baldur's Gate 3 actor Neil Newborn on normalizing LGBTQ in gaming: “We entertain people and educate people about acting. We spread inclusivity and try to be allies to the trans community, the LGBTQIA community, and people from different ethnic backgrounds.” “[Games like Baldur's Gate 3] normalize sexuality and gender in a way that we maybe haven’t seen quite so openly,” adding it is “important to keep pushing the message forward.” Asked about critics, he said: “If you think I’m woke, it doesn’t make a difference to me.” Is this what D&D should be promoting?

@LineGutter @elvenmaidinn No one is saying to revolve it around your gender, people are just wanting to play the game how they want and people are telling them no because they are part of the lgbtq community and they want to play a Trans character

@LineGutter @elvenmaidinn Because dnd came out at a time when people still believed females should still be making food and making babies, they were just starting to branch out from their homes for jobs. It allowed you to be something you weren't. That is being inclusive.

@ArthurianStudio @LineGutter @elvenmaidinn Your question is not applicable and sets a trap that uses false logic to frame a gotcha in an attempt to preshape the answer you want versus rebutting or proving your point. Go fish.

@Hapenstancially @elvenmaidinn That 100% is inclusiveness, because if it wasnt itd only be male humans who'd be allowed to be played because dnd came out when people still weren't wanting women to do more than cook food and make babies

@ArthurianStudio @elvenmaidinn I play with whatever character archetypes I feel is appropriate for the idea I have, but that has nothing to do with inclusivity, I’ve had characters that killed allies intentionally and I’ve played games with people I hate because a friend is their friend, I just ignore them

@LineGutter @elvenmaidinn I have a question for you, do you only play pcs that are human males, and do all at your table play as the same? Or is there a mix of races and sex?

I will hate on it cuz it seeped into the core of modern dnd. I been playing since the early 2000s since highschool and even read through the earlier material. Today’s dnd is not the same. It’s corrupted. There’s plenty of other tabletops ment for what people like you want. There’s BESM which covers those themes well. There’s world of darkness. There’s a few others that I can’t quite remember the names of but they explore social dynamics much better than dnd and what lore dnd has. Go play one of those.

@LineGutter @elvenmaidinn How has dnd being more inclusive ruined how you want to play the game? It literally says in the rulebook all lore and rules can be changed to what fits your play style

@ArthurianStudio @elvenmaidinn Having played since AD&D, I can tell you it’s not about inclusivity… I’ve played well over half of the systems on the market from Shadowrun, AD&D to 5e, D20 systems, VtM, and a few smaller indie ones… It’s about escapism, imagination, and creativity!

@LineGutter @elvenmaidinn But thats also why its good to be vocal about what you want at the table, find out if that one fits your wants. But dont hate on someone else's wants cuz you dont like it.

The dm decides the story. It’s up to the player if they want to join or not. I would not join an adventure about dating and sex. I would join an actual adventure. Fight evil wizards and gods and dragons. Collect treasure and magical artifacts with a party of adventurers. Dnd has always been about that since the beginning.

@LineGutter @elvenmaidinn Its not the table for you. But like many people have made the comments of on this post they dont even want to include them at a table. Ive been around since adnd and never had once thought anyone shouldn't be allowed to play how they want.

@LineGutter @elvenmaidinn People like me? What is wrong with letting people play the game how they want? People saying lgbtq people shouldn't be allowed to play their own way is extremely bigoted. If you dont feel like someone at your table is jiving with your play style and the dm is ok with them, maybe
