I was living good under trumps first term. I was making good money and saved up to earn my big ass cintiq. In the Biden years everything got fucked for me, I lost my apartment cuz it got too expensive to live there anymore so now we live in a tiny as one bed room for 2 men. We are lucky to even find a place due to a friend owning it as all places in my state we can’t afford now. And it’s not so simple as moving for us to another state which we would have but I’m literally chained to this state cuz of my dialysis treatment and my insurance only works in Massachusetts. So I would have been dead if it wasn’t for this luck. Thanks Biden. And I personally knew a real course correction is gonna be rough with this second term as Trump learned first term to not work with back stabbers which he had a cabinet full of. Nut I know I can’t do shit about it even then and even now and even 20 years ago and if I even wanted to I would of had to get in to dirty politics myself instead of work on what I wanted to work on. Best most logical option is prepare yourself and keep watching the shit show.

@LineGutter @AllThingsCivil But I know I can't convince you and I'm not even really interested in doing so to be honest with you. You've probably already made your mind up despite what the last 10 years have shown us with this administration.

I find to left to still be the worst of the 2 sides as the republicans don’t do shit when in power so they are just the left but slower. And there’s no rules that the current administration has broken, just rules you never knew wa there that they are enforcing. But you have to break the rules anyway. If playing by the rules largely established by the left, then it’s a losing game to begin with. Best to change the game. All I can safely say is people are finally learning to not trust the government as they are the ones that game it so much power thinking it was gonna be one sided forever and now the other side got in with all that power and they aren’t liking it. Good. Government should be limited in general. People should be relying on themselves more.

@LineGutter @AllThingsCivil I've been on both sides of this, and right now it's only one side that is trying to break every rule in the government to make it that we have a dictator here in the states. If you just opened your eyes and stopped pretending, you'd see what I mean.

You are basically saying to succumb to one side or the other or else things will get worse. What I’m saying is our society got too polarized that either end is basically the same. It’s best to be moderate in the middle but humans don’t like that as it takes effort to look at moderates with nuance thoughts.

@TheJoshMan07 I got a busy life so a game can’t stay too long. Also once I beat it I don’t really touch it for a few years so I can forget some of it as the second play through is never as good as the first for me. It’s different for something like a shoot em up though

@TheJoshMan07 I’m usually finding a new experience of sorts in games. I want good gameplay but usually it’s the mix of challenge, story and music with visuals I’m looking for. So roughly the whole game needs a level of decency

I’ll never understand why people go into a game not wanting to engage with it fully. Like, why do you need all these *incentives* and *reasons* to play well and learn the mechanics. Is playing well itself not a good enough reason? Is that not the point of a video game???
