Incredible that this was caught on film, yet there’s barely any coverage in Western media and the coverage that does exist doesn’t name ISRAEL.

Hegseth is correct: it's terrible when a government driven by a radical ideology invests in weapons instead of its people. The Trump Administration spent $12 Billion to bomb Iran, and The Pentagon asked for a supplemental *$200 Billion* for the Iran regime change war. Remember, 20 million Americans saw their health care premiums double because Trump didn’t want to spend $30 billion.

Hegseth: Iran is an energy rich country. instead, like so many other places, driven by a radical ideology, instead of investing in their people… they invested in missiles, and they invested in launchers and UAVS.

A brief summary of last night’s events: A. Iran emerged with the upper hand. It demonstrated once again that it will not hesitate to raise the level of escalation to defend its strategic assets — without any retreat on the issue of the Strait of Hormuz. This was entirely predictable. B. Yet another indication that this war lacks a coherent, pre-planned strategy. Once the regime did not collapse early on, it is no longer clear what the overarching strategy actually is. C. Trump was aware of the strike, but chose to look the other way once tensions escalated. This reflects an ongoing gap between Washington which may still be interested in preserving a future-facing Iran and Israel, whose approach appears aimed at systematically degrading the country’s entire infrastructure. D. The strike itself seems to have been driven by frustration: Iran is not yielding, and there is a desire to force outcomes (such as opening the Strait of Hormuz) without committing ground forces — and before external pressure brings the campaign to a halt. E. The strategic failure so far leaves Trump facing a difficult choice: escalate dramatically, potentially including boots on the ground, or move to stop the campaign now. F. At this stage, the fundamental questions remain unanswered: What is the ultimate objective? What are the exit ramps? What does success even look like? G. Instead, the conflict is drifting into a war of attrition — with no clear signs of regime collapse in Iran. Meanwhile, the president, having committed to the idea that Iran has effectively capitulated, may find it difficult to disengage while facing a visible disadvantage in the maritime arena and no resolution to the nuclear issue. Bottom line, last night’s events underscored just how unstructured this campaign has become — lacking strategic clarity, long-term planning, and a defined end state. At the same time, they exposed growing gaps between Israel and the United States, gaps that may widen further if similar outcomes repeat. And as always..just because something is operationally feasible does not mean it is strategically wise. One more point that must be stated clearly — Iran is not close to capitulating. #IranWar

🚨After the first Iranian missile strike, Qatari officials contacted White House envoy Steve Witkoff, CENTCOM commanders and other senior Trump administration officials and demanded to know whether the U.S. had prior knowledge of the Israeli strike, per source with knowledge

One thing disgusts me the most: when I see people who claim that Iran matters to them, yet while it is under fire, while it is in pain, they organise New Year gatherings, they drink, they remain cheerful. They are not living Iran: for them, Iran is merely background noise, something they can easily switch off. Whatever they choose to be is their own decision. But what fills me with deep disgust is that they still ask me to join their celebrations. I may appear calm, but I do not belong to your group. I cannot celebrate while I am in pain. It is not them I am disgusted by: it is the audacity of asking me, of seeing me as someone who could stand where they stand. No. I will not stand among you. May I die the day I celebrate while my land is under fire. Thank you for your invitation. My answer is NO.
Shabnam Shabani@ShabnamShabani

There are many to blame for the days we are witnessing. I cannot stop asking myself one question: did I do everything I could have done to prevent this? And I am suffering under the rubble of this question’s weight. May Iran be protected from darkness, mistakes, incompetence, cruelty, and ignorance.

Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions. But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

What the fuck is Israel doing here? And don't jump on me for criticizing them, Trump just characterized them as a military that "lashes out" because of "anger."

Satellite imagery from Airbus confirms a strike by Israel just 350 meters from the Bushehr nuclear reactor. The following simulation shows the devastating regional environmental impact resulting from reactor bombardment.

I condemn in the strongest terms the overnight Iranian strike on a Qatari gas facility. We are working towards a swift resolution to the situation in the Middle East, in the best interests of the British people – because there is no question that ending the war is the quickest way to reduce the cost of living.
