Triple Hausen’s Thoughts 💭
The balls and lack of awareness it takes to be Kyle Fletcher complaining about how All In Texas was one of the worst days of his life because things didn’t go as planned that day after he concussed Adam Cole and ended his career. What a fucking idiot.

@WCWNitroBook Late 96 people in my class were breaking my balls for wearing the Outsiders shirt cuz it was fake pro wrestling, a year later everyone in the school was wearing the shirts and wrestling in the hallways.

Beyond Nitro: 4 Life By 1998, the nWo had spread like wildfire across the middle and high schools of America. Suddenly, nWo shirts littered school cafeterias everywhere from San Jose to Bangor, Maine. Classmates eagerly threw up the ‘Wolfpac’ hand gesture upon passing each other in the hallway. Students with a more theatrical flair enjoyed playing the role of The Bad Guy: Listen, don’t ask me how I’m doin’ – it’s ‘Hey, Yo’, chico… Once the group splintered into two rival factions – nWo Hollywood (or nWo ‘Black and White’), led by the still-villainous Hogan – versus the babyface nWo Wolfpac (or nWo ‘Red and Black’), pupils from state to state divided themselves accordingly. Although there would never be an appropriate ‘blow-off’ to the internal nWo feud, the potentials were imagined daily across America’s playgrounds. “[Previously], it was almost like you were made fun of, in school, if you were a WCW fan,” remembers Mike ‘Gunz’ Gunzelman (@TheGunzShow), a long-time media personality with tenures at ABC News Radio, SiriusXM and Outkick. “You cannot deny that the nWo became the coolest, most bad-ass thing. People were jumping ship, and I’m telling you – I was in that age group. All of a sudden, I was going to people’s houses for WCW pay-per-views. We were never doing that before. “The nWo single-handedly made it cool, [including with] the makeshift anarchy-type aspect to it. There’s a revisionist history where people want to change what things actually were at the time. But they’re lying to themselves if they don’t understand what the nWo was able to do...” Listen to Beyond Nitro on Audible for more: USA: audible.com/pd/B0GT6C2N3H/… UK: audible.co.uk/pd/B0GT68FGDP/… Canada: audible.ca/pd/B0GT6YW6BC/… Australia: audible.com.au/pd/B0GT72S26X/… @LoganSekulow @ChrisVannini @bmarcello @Chris8711 @Bfish3422 @rocksar223 @ZachTakes @HunterDuesing @SmarkingDown @jonathandalecki @YEAHRevolution_ @KicknOut2 @joeyjo35t @Wrestling80s90s @itsmachot @wrestleclips @RGT_85 @CHE_OHARA @randyjcruz @nWo4lifeWCW @becausewcw Apple Books link: books.apple.com/us/audiobook/b… Direct Audible link: audible.com/pd/B0GT6C2N3H/…

@GrappleClips The 90 Royal Rumble is the most underrated of them all. Red hot crowd and a hell of a roster

Interesting in 1990 that the WWF wasn’t using the participants entrance music during the Royal Rumble… Somehow it fits really well… The anticipation and pops for new entrants seems a lot greater!

I finally watched this last night after Will talked it up for a long time. I think it's my favorite of their entire series, and it's more than 3 years after the feud ended. My favorite WWF match of '88.
Adonis@YoungDonny_

Tito Santana vs. Greg Valentine on 12/17/88 is a HELL of a match. I haven’t seen all of their matches, but I think this is my favorite of the ones I have seen. A match that for how loaded it is with action, really shines in its minute character details.

@Domo8186 The crazy Juwan/Miami Heat is he/isn’t he is almost a forgotten thing. What a rollercoaster ride. Was so hyped he came back, when in the end, it would have been the best thing for the team if he walked away

I think two things can be true at once: 1. Fanatics sent their branded stars, not necessarily the archetype of a true Flag Football player. You need skinny, quick guys out there. Putting Saquon out there zaps his superpower - strength. He'd crush these guys in real football. 2. Team USA is very talented, and specialized at what they do. Discrediting their craft is disrespectful.
Henry McKenna@henrycmckenna

This highlight is a microcosm of why, for the Olympics, it will be complicated to pick between pro NFL players and pro flag football players

@stream517 @davemeltzerWON If you have work or early morning commitments then watch later and just stay off social media, that simple. Or watch what you can, go to bed, get up and finish it. People can survive a couple hours away from social media lmao...

I'm glad Andrade exists because every generation needs a wrestler where when your Mom walks in the room they say "Who is THAT" and you get an unwanted reminder that your parents are sexual creatures.

There were 530,000 different homes that bought an AEW PPV in 2023, and more than 650,000 in 2024. Keep in mind a few flaws. First, that's worldwide, not U.S. Second, if Dynamite averages 655,000 viewers (total viewer minutes divided by the full length of the show), the total viewers watching is closer to 1.2 million because average viewership length is 54-58% of the show.
john Harris@jharris208

@davemeltzerWON @bryanalvarez Some simple math on AEW PPV claims: Dynamite averages ~655,000 AEW PPVs average ~131,000 buys. 9 PPVs a year. If the average fan buys 1 PPV per year, that means: 9 × 131,000 = ~1.18 million unique buyers That’s about 180% of the Dynamite audience

@Gcarmi21 This guy decided to f&#k them last year and SF is a bad guy for holding out for the best thing for the team. They have roster space so why should Ayuk get what he wants for violating contract terms he signed. SF is not being petty... They are being businessmen

I understand it's a business, but the #49ers appear petty and are portraying themselves in a negative light. Players and agents see these things. Meanwhile, the #Commanders have been proactive about releasing players early who don't fit in their plans and allowing them to sign elsewhere. WSH has been much more player-friendly.
NFL Rumors@nflrums

🚨The #49ers are reportedly planning to hold onto Brandon Aiyuk because there’s a belief that they can get a 7th round pick in return for him
