@AnAfterLemonade @alex_prompter @ioangrillo I tried Google for both titles. No dice. I've tried periodically for years, because it triggered me not to know.
English

Okay, but Googled USED to be able to do that, before they literally admitted that there is no reason to have a functioning seaech system, because people googling things 2 or 3 times, is more profitable than googling it once.
They have purposely dumbed down the rest of the entirety of the internet, stripped search engines, and are using this new "evidence" as to why we should have AI.
English

Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it.
Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying.
Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence."
Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter."
Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter.
They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created.
One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility."
Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies.
That's the metered intelligence business model.
And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.

@AaronRegunberg What is a "corporate Democrat"?
Tom Steyer seems like one.
Bernie Sanders promoted John Fetter and Tulsi Gabbard. Is that "populism"?
English

@OrganizerMemes They targeted Democrats before Hasan Piker and he said nothing. In fact, he cheered.
English

@rochowanski Yes. It must be "NAFO" that has brought acrimony to Ukraine. Not Russian war, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.
Oddly, being a Russophone has not spared any Ukrainian citizen from Russian attack.

The grotesque, nightmarish end point of Western elites instrumentalizing post-Soviet "social racism" and just plain racism for their geopolitical agendas, turning the heads of our own worst losers with hatred to keep stoking the sacrifice of Ukrainians' bodies and dignity. 1/2

@ZaidJilani @JakeAuch "accidental tattoo"
Kind of like Beck's lyric: "Drive-by body pierce"
English

@JakeAuch Why is an accidental tattoo disqualifying and not supporting Trump policies that killed many thousands of people?
English

Susan Collins is a rubber stamp for the worst admin in history. Claims that I would endorse her, implicitly or otherwise, ignore my track record supporting Democrats to take back both chambers. As I said months ago, I find Platner's Nazi tattoo and his commentary about it personally disqualifying. If it were me I'd vote for someone else in the Maine Democratic primary.
Regardless of what happens in Maine, Democrats need to take back the Senate and I'll keep working hard to make it happen.

"So the Communist Party said that if I needed wifi to do propaganda on their behalf then they have me covered!"
People understand that if you admit to intending to engage in federal crimes that you then engage in then that's not political persecution, right?

There's a funny American version of this:
1) Enthusiastic pro-US non-western moderniser goes to the US
2) Is disgusted/disappointed by what he sees
3) Becomes a massive anti-American reactionary

It's a little crazy that 90% of the most famous left-wing revolutionaries in the world had some kind of coming of age experience in France

@TrueSlazac If Alberta can secede from Canada, Athabasca can secede from Alberta. Why should Athabasca subsidize the rest?

I read all 277 pages of SpaceX's IPO filing so you don't have to. Losses up 700%. Revenue decelerating. 107x price-to-sales multiple. It's a trainwreck. Full breakdown below 👇
