@BestCryptids What's this regarding the "specific symbols" on the film based on the year? Who used the symbols? Kodak? Because you can still buy old film stock today if you look for it. Doesn't mean it was filmed in that year, just that the film was manufactured in that year.

@circvsanimal How dare you accuse my beloved Gimli of being a hoaxer. Also, Patterson and Gimlin were very aware of Bigfoot. Patterson wrote (well, mostly plagiarized) a book about it the year before shooting the film, which was one of his many get rich quick schemes.

See this is sad cuz I don’t think your belief needs to hinge on this footage. There’s plenty of other Bigfoot stories and Patterson and Gimli could have heard the legend elsewhere

Right now, r/bigfoot’s most popular explanation for the PG test footage is that Patterson and Gimlin DID make a suit for their movie with the intention of faking it, but then they got lucky and managed to film a real Bigfoot. So yeah, they’re taking the news really, really well.

This is an alleged freshwater seahorse which was caught in Lake Titicaca, which has no connection to the sea, sometime before 1911. There are several other reports of seahorses being seen in the lake's shallows, as well as two ancient ceramic seahorses found on its islands.
