Our public education system exists to ensure every child can chase the American Dream, regardless of where they live or what situation they were born into. Tax $ should NOT be diverted from local public schools & into the bank accounts of private, unaccountable ones. #ncpol

The Anxious Generation by @JonHaidt is an excellent diagnosis of cell phones & social media, re: children & teens. @GCPSchools was among the first places *in the country* to take steps to address the issue head-on. It’s a blueprint I hope the rest of NC will follow! #ncpol

What does this bill do? ➡️ allows out of state billionaires to funnel unlimited amounts of $ to NC campaigns anonymously 🤑 ➡️ changes campaign finance rules in the middle of an election cycle—gotta wonder why? 🤔 How does it help the people of NC? ➡️ IT DOESN’T 🤨 #ncpol
