Today the first military couples of the season landed at Samaritan Lodge Alaska— marking the start of our 15th summer dedicated to serving wounded military personnel and their spouses. It is an honor and a privilege to serve those who have sacrificed so much to serve us. Samaritan’s Purse is preparing an airlift for the Democratic Republic of the Congo in response to the deadly Ebola outbreak! This weekend, our 767 cargo plane will carry an Ebola Treatment Center and personal protective equipment to help safeguard healthcare providers. The 767 will land in Uganda then supplies will be transported to the Democratic Republic of the Congo where many people are suffering. Fear and uncertainty is increasing in Central Africa as the virus spreads. As the deadly Ebola virus continues to spread across the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other parts of Central Africa, countless families are living in fear and danger. Please join us in prayer for all those impacted by this outbreak. Ask God to protect the vulnerable and stop the spread of this violent disease. Prayer is powerful. Thank you to all the motorcyclists who came out for the 15th Annual High Country Warrior Ride on Saturday in support of @SamaritansPurse Operation Heal Our Patriots! This program impacts the lives of so many veterans and their spouses every year through Biblical marriage enrichment and spiritual renewal in Alaska.

Children's Heart Project provides life-saving heart surgery to children living in locations around the world where access to this critical care is not available. 🙏 Today Otgon-Erdene will bravely undergo heart surgery through this program. Please join us in praying for her!

The 15th season of Operation Heal Our Patriots is less than a week away!
