Here is Keir Starmer claiming to be "absolutely furious" he was not told that Lord Peter Mandelson failed security vetting. “Unforgivable” he added. What’s unforgivable is that he expects us to believe him. We’re even more furious at the amount of lies from “Mr Integrity”.

Keir Starmer has known about the fact Mandelson failed his vetting since Tuesday evening But as per @PippaCrerar key ministers - including Yvette Cooper, the foreign secretary, and David Lammy, the former foreign secretary - were not told at the time Cooper learned after being informed by The Guardian on Thursday and ended up having to sack her permanent secretary that evening Lammy was only told by officials on Thursday afternoon

Yep, good argument. What Britain needs at a moment of grave international instability is a PM who tried to force through a man who represented a major national security risk into one of the most sensitive diplomatic posts in the West against the advice of the security services.
