The fact that we’re relieved that Ed Miliband won’t be the next Chancellor just shows how low the bar for disappointment has become.

Ann Widdecombe was Reform UK’s Immigration & Justice spokesperson. Her murder was politically motivated. Nigel Farage received 1,577 threats since February 2026. His anger at SkyNews doorstepping his daughter’s home wasn’t a “hissy fit,” it’s justified given the security risks.

After Jo Cox was murdered, the BBC rightly didn’t invite activists on to say that they won’t miss her because she was pro-immigration, pro-Gaza etc. So why do they allow it for another murder victim, Ann Widdecombe? With the BBC, these decisions always seem to go one way.

The Head of Counter Terrorism Policing has now confirmed Ann Widdecombe was murdered in a targeted attack. It is also being investigated as terrorism and politically motivated. The police initially got it wrong by dismissing them. Always speculate.

The next time Labour dares to say that Nigel Farage & Reform are a “threat to democracy”. Just remind them that: Andy Burnham will avoid parliamentary scrutiny until Sept. He banned the press from asking him questions. Only took questions on a heavily moderated Reddit thread.

I noticed yesterday that the Ann Widdecombe parliamentary debate steered into being about “online safety.” Particularly by Lucy Powell. Just like with David Amess, they’re using Ann’s murder to push an insidious agenda. They’re doing exactly what they accused Reform of doing.

In church, cleaning. Ann’s flowers have held up very well, and I’ve lit her candle. I like to think she wouldn’t mind me hoovering, while singing along to ‘Onward Christian Soldiers’ for motivation. It’s hot work today!

This time next week, Andy Burnham will be Prime Minister. He has received very little scrutiny, we still know nothing about his policy direction. All we know is that he wears a navy t-shirt, from up North, not Keir Starmer but u-turned like him. This won’t be good for the UK.

There still needs to be a much bigger purge but I won’t miss an opportunity to have a dig at Gavin.

Gavin Barwell represented the very worst of the Tory Party. Under May, he helped to push Net Zero, DEI & trans ideology. He attempted to botch Brexit and continuously joined Labour in attacking people like Suella when she was Home Secretary. A truly odious man.
