update to the update, this one per @FresnoSheriff - a witness reportedly saw the woman starting the fire and flagged down a CHP officer. The suspect is being booked for multiple arson-related crimes

Per North Central Fire, a 40-year-old woman is in custody. We’re told a sheriff’s deputy saw her lighting the fire. @ABC30

More than 35 firefighters are on scene. We’re told it’s burned a mixture of grass, vehicles, trailers and buildings. Still unknown what caused the fire, but firefighters are getting a handle on it (the plume of smoke has shrunk considerably over the past half hour). @ABC30

*ACCUWEATHER ALERT*
Extreme heat moves in Wednesday with highs ranging from 107-112 degrees for the Valley and 102-107 for the foothills by Friday.
This is dangerous heat and will continue at least through Sunday, possibly into next week.
