Fresno is getting a professional hockey team with the Falcons coming coming back after a 17 year hiatus. They'll join the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) becoming just the 2nd team West of the the 100th Meridian West. @ABC30

Don't think the Rams situation is overly complicated. Can't tell people to ignore their lying eyes — McVay clearly wasn't thrilled. Seems like the classic case of a coach (rightfully, it's his job!) preferring short-term action while a GM/front office is on a more long-term orientation (also their job). We already know the Rams shopped Matthew Stafford last offseason. It's also very plausible that Les Snead actually sees some of the Stafford shortcomings that most of the media ignores (he posted mediocre efficiency before an elite supporting cast arrived; still a high bad throw rate in 2025). Concurrently, an emotional McVay attachment to Stafford would also be plausible. He rescued McVay from the Goff desert and is unquestionably the best option for 2026 — and a good head coach's primary focus *must* be on the now. The whole situation lends itself to some natural tension. That said, context is always king and the NFC West is currently in the midst of a historically captivating divisional arms race — and the Rams allowed pick #13 to come and go without raising their ceiling for the battle that's happening right now. Simply put, that's a decision that's made the rest of the NFC West smile and McVay — at least in the immediate aftermath — scowl
