@PurdueBballGuy I didn’t read anything you said because you sound long when didn’t self-righteous. But I’ll say this: if this Purdue team showed the same heart and desire as it did back in December, we wouldn’t care what the fucking record was. And it all starts at the top of the team.

You know what’s terrible for this Purdue team and an ugly representation of our fan base? That many “fans” have gotten to a point of being so disrespectful and personal, that multiple players parents are voicing out against our own fan base. This is absolutely unacceptable and anyone who is actively and aggressively attempting to bully or attack Purdue players because you are so miserable with your own life, you suck. And you will be blocked by everyone eventually. It’s sad, and it’s ignorant and you should be ashamed. But you won’t be, because if you knew shame you’d be out of your parents basement by now. Criticism is fine. Being upset is fair. Being mad even. But getting to a point where our head coach, who is as good of a dude and smart of a basketball mind as there is, where he is calling this out, it’s fucking embarrassing. Be better. Or you’ll be cheering for a team who can’t keep players or get recruits because we have an overly toxic fanbase (ie:Indiana). I apologize to @rob_jacobsen @dsmitty72503 @JaneCluff and any other parents who have had to deal with and respond to this. The vast majority of this fanbase are extremely supportive of your kids and the young men on this team who put so much time and energy into being the best version of themselves. Thank you for raising such great men and this isn’t who the Purdue fanbase is, it’s a very loud and sad minority.
