MLB Daily Notes - April 30 Loaded up daily notes this morning! A look at a bunch of pitchers, and then a question about how much bat speed changes matter relative to xwOBA changes. Some buy low hitters, and a specific look at Rafael Devers, Cole Young, and Hunter Goodman.

Joe Mack getting the call to spell Agustin Ramirez for a few weeks. Great defensive catcher with plenty of pop. Hasn't been great this year so far. Just a .378 SLG and a 2.9% HR% in 24 games. But the last two years he's mashed 45 bombs with a 4.5% HR%. Good add in deep two-catcher leagues, definitely going to be a DFS play this week, assuming he's <$2.5K for a few days

They made him start at Coord coming off of an injury, as a predominantly ride, fastball guy, Coors destroys induced vertical break. Dumb decision to have him debut there
