Grateful to break fast with members of our community at the Fort Bend County Iftar during this holy month. Ramadan is a time for reflection, generosity, and coming together, and it meant a lot to share that spirit with neighbors across Fort Bend.

A year ago, we launched this campaign.  Three elections, one swearing in, & a community that refused to stop showing up.  One more time, TX-18. May 26th.

Illegal wars.  Unaffordable prices.  Democracy in shambles. People are ready to change direction.

Last week we came in first place, again.  We have one more election to go, TX-18.  Election Day is Tuesday, May 26. Let’s do this.

I was honored to throw out the first pitch with my son Gabriel at Third Ward Little League. Play ball!

Kristi Noem has failed the American people. My first day in office I called for her removal.  Her failed leadership is the symptom, not the full problem. Donald Trump’s radicalized ICE has terrorized our communities and we must continue to make sure our tax dollars do not continue funding the harassment and murder of US citizens.

Today marks one year since we lost Congressman Sylvester Turner. Mayor. Congressman. Statesman. Someone who always picked up the phone. Who showed up for every community, every single time. Who had a kind word and thoughtful advice ready no matter. He served this city, the 18th District, and this state selflessly and honorably for decades.  Grateful to have called him a mentor and a friend. And will do everything I can to honor and continue his legacy.

We came in first. On May 26, let’s finish the fight.
